Crime Watch

In the past, we have had home break-ins that have happened during daytime hours and night time hours along with stolen cars and vehicle break-ins.  This is not unique to our neighborhood; it is going on all around us.  It is very important that each homeowner takes steps to protect themselves from this type of crime. If you see something that seems suspicious call 911 immediately and then send a message to the board so we can keep everyone informed.

 Here are some tips to help prevent a break-in:

• Make sure front doorway is visible and free of shrubbery and bushes. 
• Leave a car in the driveway to make it look like someone is home.
• Be alert when answering the door, talk through the window if needed.
• If they ring the doorbell, be sure to answer the door or at least let them know someone is home. 
• Own a dog.
• Leave the radio on in the house when you leave.
